Take-A-Bite Deli (located inside the Shell Station) - Their sign says "Best Gas Station Food in America" and their customers agree! As locals already know, the lunch time lines can be too long to endure...so we recommend that you call in your order in advance! 530-642-8482. Sanwiches, soups, vegetarian, daily specials.
Things to Do
The Gold Bug Historic Park in downtown Placerville offers guided tours of the historic mine and scenes from the gold rush. They have a store to buy gifts as well.
